The Art of Being Strong

Many abstract concepts, such as strength, consciousness, freedom, independence, selfhood, and integrity, can be transferred from the intellectual sphere into the tangible practice of bodily sensations. This practice can be used continuously and remain completely unnoticed by others. They may, of course, notice your good mood, the sparkle in your eyes, the elasticity of youth, and the energy overflowing, but they will have no idea of its origin. This practice does not involve spectacular tricks that attract followers' attention, such as the lotus position, headstands, or fingers twisted into mudras. It also does not require mystical attributes like a kimono, mat, incense sticks, bells, or meditation music. The practice is based on micro-movements, which are more effective the less noticeable they are.

This book is a leaf from the tree of the sacred grove of the Adyghe people—a small, proud nation of the Caucasus.

Freedom - Joints

What embodies the principle of freedom in the structure of our body? It is the joints. In these centers of rotation, we can freely change our configuration. Therefore, the first part of the practice begins with joint warm-up.

To start, tap them lightly with your palms in the following order:

1. From the navel to the toes—sacrum, hips, knees, ankles, toes, and back.

2. From the navel to the fingers—chest, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, and back.

3. Neck—the 7th cervical vertebra, atlas, and back.

4. Head—lips, eyes, ears, forehead, crown, and back.

Next, each joint should be gently kneaded with compressing and stretching movements in the same order. Pay attention to the folds in the skin. They indicate the natural directions of bending, helping to avoid injuries.

There is no direct access to the joints of the spinal column. Therefore, they can be kneaded all together sequentially in three planes. First, bring the arms together and apart along the horizontal axis, then rotate around the vertical axis, stretch the sides vertically with the hands, and perform forward and backward bends and stretches.

Independence - Swaying, Rotation

Independence from external conditions is related to balance and equilibrium. If muscles on one side contract, those on the other side stretch. After this, it is necessary to compensate by contracting the rested muscles and stretching the contracted ones. In the evolution of life, we have encountered constantly acting force vectors, such as gravity. In a lifeless environment, gravity causes stratification. In living organisms, the only way to counteract external forces is through continuous circulation, mixing, and oscillation. Therefore, the elastic muscular corset is in constant vibration, and external forces cause damped oscillations.

The practice consists of consciously springing back in the opposite direction after moving in one direction. Movements should not get stuck or cling. A clear example is walking, where the muscles of the leg, stretched when moving backward, contract on their own to propel the leg forward. During warm-up, when reaching the limit of movement in a joint, we must slightly roll back in the opposite direction. Swaying naturally arises as a form of defense.

Selfhood - the Boundary of Inhalation and Exhalation

In addition to movements along the three axes, there is also interaction with the world at the level of inside and outside. There is a certain boundary that separates the self from the non-self. This boundary manifests in breathing. We inhale inward and exhale outward.

For this practice, an additional skill is needed. Imagine that your hands effortlessly come together on the inhale—let the palms slightly converge toward the navel on the inhale, and on the exhale, they effortlessly move apart. Now, detach this barely noticeable movement from breathing. Try to bring the palms together and apart several times on the inhale, then do the same on the exhale. You have just grasped the deep sensation of absorbing from the outside and releasing outward. This sensation will be very useful to us. It is a primal sensation inherent even to single-celled organisms. It defines selfhood, the boundaries of an independent being, an independent self. If there is no boundary, the being merges with the surrounding space, and the self disappears.

This sensation can be creatively applied. For example, you can place it in the centers of the eyes. The pupils will subtly contract, absorbing energy, and then expand. This is an excellent exercise for improving vision. Or place it in the heart. Emotionally feel how this world is lovingly accepted and how gratitude radiates in all directions with each heartbeat.

Love

People often get confused about the meaning of love. For many people it has become something that can be stored, given, or sold. One can make it. Sometimes people even say, "I will love you to death." The famous phrase "God is love" adds fuel to the fire, implying that God, as the primary source of love, generously radiates it in all directions. In this understanding, love is like a clot of warmth and light that we receive from our ancestors and pass on to our descendants.

On the other hand, to admire means to marvel at beauty, to accept it. To master a craft or profession, one must first accept and love it. In the Adyghe language, the word "love" is complex and translates as "I see good in you." There are many meaningless and harmful objects and beings around, but suddenly one stands out and is allowed in. In this sense, loving the world means accepting it in all its manifestations. Not being a foreign body within it. A parable comes to mind: when Christ and his disciples passed by a decomposing dead dog, the disciples began to turn away and cover their noses, but Christ said, "Look, even pearls are not whiter than its teeth."

Therefore, love is an attractive sensation, like taste, the fragrance of a flower, or captivating beauty. There is no mind, no reason, no control in it. It is a pure, piercing feeling.

Gratitude

Gratitude, on the contrary, implies a conscious, rational response. It is a reciprocal action aimed at preserving and enhancing what you love, to love even more. It is no coincidence that ungrateful people are called "ungrateful animals." To receive, one must give. Although animals are often grateful, this indicates the beginnings of mind. The mind of dogs, for example, is shaped by the soul of their owner.

Center - the Navel

If you are centered, it is difficult to throw you off balance. This can be compared to a pendulum, where the suspension point is motionless, or to a wheel, where the axis of rotation is stationary. How to find your center? Let's return to the point where everything began. The fusion of the father's and mother's cells, dividing into two, then four, then eight. This place—the point where the umbilical cord attached to the mother's body—remains in the adult body as the navel. The entire body grew in all directions from this point. Look at how carefree children are. They are not bothered by problems of sex, politics, or religion. They do not judge anyone, nor do they envy anyone. At the same time, they are ready to jump from morning to evening and do not get tired at all.

The practice of finding the center within oneself through sensations is as follows: imagine that you are an embryo, a baby in the mother's womb. What is your posture? Correct, it is close to a sphere—the most energetically advantageous position. By the way, in this position, it is impossible to drown; the body floats to the surface of the water like a buoy. The body is curled into a ball, arms and legs bent, hands and feet turned inward, head tilted, chin pressed to the body. Try to do the previous exercise with the palms compressing toward the center, mentally curling into the fetal position. Slightly bend, or even just intend to bend, the wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet, knees, pelvic folds, and head into the fetal position. You will have a clear sensation of the entire body compressing into the navel point.

On an emotional level, the work here is as follows: along the axis of the umbilical cord forward: "I love you, mother, and I am very grateful to you," along the axis downward to the feet: "I love you, Earth, our common mother, and I am grateful to you," along the axis upward: "I love you, sky, which gave birth to everything, and I am grateful to you." If you move away from the axes and delve deeper to the level of the sphere, you can compress into a point and expand to the boundaries of the body with the sensations of "I love you, world, and I am grateful to you." There is no need to expand to infinity, as this would be a useless mental visualization, and at the bodily level—a huge waste of energy. To touch infinity, you need to go into the point within yourself, the point of the Center. By retreating into your center, you will find amazing calmness, even amidst the storms of life's challenges.

Wholeness - Synchronicity

In the Adyghe language, "whole" and "healthy" are the same word. What is illness? It is when some part of the body begins to live separately from the rest, from the whole body, or when it is completely absent. What happens to the deceased? Each organ, each cell, trying to preserve life, pulls energy toward itself. But there is no unifying principle that connects them into a single whole, and so the body falls apart, decomposes.

Where are the boundaries of our integrity? For example, there is a whole being—a cell, but it is part of an internal organ, which is part of an organism. Our personal life is part of family life, which is part of society, and society, in turn, is subject to the seasonal rhythms of our common planet. The boundary between the self and the non-self is the boundary of a smaller whole within a larger whole. The larger whole unites and synchronizes the rhythms of all parts of the smaller whole.

Therefore, integrity and health are the unity in time of the processes of the entire body, synchronization with more general rhythms. For our health, we need music and emotional life, communication, as well as dressing warmly in winter and sheltering from the heat in summer.

The practice at this stage consists of relizing one's fractality. We compress and expand in each individual joint as if in the entire body simultaneously. And vice versa—we compress into the fetal position with the whole body, as if compressing a single joint. So you can work, for example, with a palm and simultaneously experience this sensation throughout the entire body.

Thus, the sensation of the largest internal organ—the fascial body, which unites all ligaments into a single whole —gradually develops.

The fascial body is the main mediator between consciousness, muscles, and organs.

Good exercises for integrity include "moving the immovable," for example, pushing a wall with all your power or pulling a sturdy tree toward you.

Consciousness - Connection

Look at a sleeping dragon. Is it strong? You can do anything with it. But when it wakes up, it's better not to mess with it. What makes it strong? Correct, consciousness. Remember the old formula "Knowledge is power"? Now we can clarify it as "Consciousness is power." All manifestations of power, such as mind, intuition, and physical strength, are the result of a strong connection between the physical body and the ocean of surrounding life—clear consciousness.

Consciousness is the boundary between body and mind, space and time, the individual and the general. Through the boundary of consciousness, the general invades the events of personal life, and bodily sensations are reflected in the general. This is a continuous exchange, a connection. A conscious person feels a clear boundary of their body. Consciousness needs the body and feeds on the energy of its sensations. The healthier the body, the clearer the consciousness. If in time we charge relaxed muscles with the energy of life, then in space, when we compress them, we simultaneously focus consciousness. For a clear mind, full physical activity engaging all parts of the body, work, and labor are absolutely necessary. Honing the perfection of movement simultaneously sharpens consciousness.

The practice here is obvious—it is the gym and active movements, especially involving all muscle groups, such as dancing, swimming, or singing.

Gaining Strength - Union

The practice at this stage is related to increasing energy by raising vibrations. At the first stage, we work with breathing. On the inhale, we compress the entire body toward the center; on the exhale, we stretch out in all directions. Next, we work with sound. Try to perform several compressions and stretches on each inhale and exhale, gradually increasing their frequency until a sound appears. This sound can be silent if you don’t want to attract attention. The whole body vibrates with a low sound emanating from the center. This state requires some tension. Now, raise the frequency to the speed of light and relax. The body begins to radiate light in all directions! Enjoy your full strength, unification with the luminous Universe.

Rainbow

Human life can be figuratively compared to a rainbow, emerging from the blue of the sky, passing through all the colors in turn, and disappearing again into emptiness. The sequence of colors in the rainbow from bottom to top is as follows: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, violet, and blue. At the center of the rainbow is the orange sunlight. At different times, different numbers of colors were distinguished in it. For example, Aristotle recognized only three, the Chinese—five, modern English speakers—six, in this language, blue and dark blue are both "blue". At a minimum, there are three—blue, green, and red, which, when mixed, form all the others. You can draw a color circle with the sequence of rainbow colors. The wavelength of visible light, completing the circle, doubles, just like in a musical octave. You can match different colors to the circle of vowel sounds. I—green, Е—yellow, А —red, О —purple, U—blue.

The logic of constructing the circle of vowels comes from observing the shape of the lips during sound production. I—the lips are maximally stretched to the sides; Е —the lips are stretched, but the mouth is slightly open; А —the mouth is maximally open vertically, О —the lips are rounded at the sides; U—the lips are maximally compressed and stretched forward. Further—around the circle. The movement of the lips occurs in three spatial axes: I—left-right; А —up-down; U—forward-backward. The first half of the vowel circle IEA —opening; the second half OU—closing. Thus, we can correlate the cycle of body movement, such as breathing or pulse, with certain colors and sounds, as well as the stages of the circle of human life as a whole.

Breathing

In yoga and qigong, breathing is divided into direct Yin and reverse Yang. Direct breathing is accompanied by the expansion of the lungs and abdomen in all directions on the inhale. In reverse breathing, the abdominal and perineal muscles are pulled in on the inhale, as if we are gathering into the navel point. Direct breathing occurs when we sleep or rest. We switch to reverse or "energetic" breathing during physical exertion, for example, to lift a weight, you need to compress the air in the abdomen on the inhale and push on the exhale. A boxer delivers a punch on the exhale. Singing also occurs on reverse breathing.

In the micro-movements described above, it is necessary to completely detach from breathing to transition to higher vibrations. The connection with breathing is their special case. However, if you use breathing as a warm-up and affirmation of sensations, you need to apply different types of breathing depending on the situation.

Let's analyze these situations. In the cycle of human life, three stages can be distinguished:

1. Childhood, formation, apprenticeship. Here, the body grows, energy and knowledge accumulate. The natural breathing type for children is direct.

2. Maturity, active life, struggle, creativity, constructing. At this stage, one gives birth to their own children. A person in their prime is like a creator god. For activities aimed at changing the world, reverse breathing is necessary.

3. Old age, wisdom, teaching. A person can no longer defeat opponents in direct physical combat. Their strength lies in knowledge, proper organization of life, social connections, and accessing higher energy resources. Here, paradoxes begin. For example, in a critical situation, one needs to relax as much as possible, maintaining calm and goodwill, instead of tensing up. Lao Tzu—an adult child—speaks of the need to return to the state of a child. Christ says that only children will enter the kingdom of heaven. At this stage, people turn to religion and meditation. For spiritual progress at this level, direct breathing is again necessary, as in childhood.

Smiling with the Body

The idea of the practice is to reproduce a smile at all levels. We start with the lips. Press them with both hands, stretch them to the sides, then up and down. You can mentally accompany this with the sounds IEA. Pronouncing vowels in this order inevitably stretches the lips into a smile. Next, repeat the same with the eyes—press the closed eyes with the centers of your palms, stretch them to the sides, and up and down. Then do the same with the ears, forehead, crown, and neck. This is good healing for wrinkles. Smiling with the hands is done as follows: on the inhale (if we are using direct breathing), open the lungs, expand the chest , spread the arms to the sides, and at the end, spread the fingers. In sign language, this pose means "I am very happy to see you, I am completely open to you, and I love you." We rejoice in the world like children. Then, on the exhale, as the lungs compress, with the sound OU, the hands come together to the chest. We seem to gather into a point. This results in a gesture close to the prayerful position of the hands on the heart. It is a natural gesture of gratitude. The same body smile is done with the torso, stretching and bringing the arms together sequentially along three axes—twisting, stretching the sides, and bending. All movements pass through the neutral position—the fetal pose. Then comes the smile with the legs: on the exhale, we compress and slightly squat, and on the inhale, we stretch and rise onto tiptoes. Finally, with the whole body, we stretch from the navel to the sides and then compress back toward the navel.

In most cases, the body itself chooses the necessary type of breathing. If you have creative tasks or need combat application, then compress into a point with the sound AOU and release with the sound IEA. A vivid example, of course, is the battle cry in karate. In prayer, on the contrary, Indian Brahmins capture the air on IEA and produce AOUm on the exhale.

The practice of sound accompaniment can be equally applied by speakers of any language because the vowel sounds here are not connected to meanings but only to the anatomical configuration of their pronunciation, which is the same for everyone.

Losing Balance - Manipulations

Being in the center is your refuge, your independence. The center is the focus of attention around the navel. Others constantly try to throw you off balance by shifting your center, for example, to the head, the heart, or the genitals. The purpose of these manipulations is very simple—to seize your attention, to make you work for them, to use your resources. Manipulators can be individuals, groups, or even an entire species (when the reproductive instinct kicks in).

You need to understand how your desires are born. Initially, potential differences form in the mind, like in a battery—plus is good, minus is bad. Desires are the electromotive force that drives you from "bad" to "good." This is followed by your actions and deeds—the electric current, the movement of charged particles at a certain speed.

Let's take a closer look at two main kinds of classical manipulations. The first "superiority"can be found in words like " the best”, “the most”, or “the only one."

It goes something like this: "Tanya is the MOST beautiful, she rejected me, and therefore I will die." To free yourself from this manipulation, you need to turn the absolute into the relative, and find balancing circumstances. For example, clarify WHERE? In our class, perhaps. But in the next class, there are two more beautiful girls. And in the school, there are countless. That's it. Life is saved.

You might also be told that the HIGHEST speed is the speed of light. Ask WHERE? Probably only in Einstein's theory of relativity.

Manipulations involving the highest Absolute are especially dangerous. When someone affects you by mentioning God, don't get lost. If you are facing the true Absolute, then by definition, He is the MOST in everything. Therefore, He is not only the greatest but also the smallest, not only the strongest but also the weakest, not only the most loving but also the most cruel, not only the kindest but also the most cunning, not only the most existing but also the most absent. So it is an extreme mathematical abstraction, impossible in reality. You can ask a clarifying question: "And where or whose God is He?" Usually, behind the label of God—the ruler of the Universe—hides an arrogant group spirit. For example, Jehovah was originally the group spirit of the Semitic tribe, protecting its people and hostile to all others. Remember what happened to the Egyptians? Isn't it absurd to stand under his banners if you belong to other nations? How many of the most inhumane atrocities have been committed in history in the name of God, entire peoples destroyed just because they spoke a different language or were of a different color?

The second type of manipulation is "comparative" – “this is good, and that is bad, this is better, or it’s better over there.” Let’s say it’s winter and someone says, “Bali is so nice.” You immediately drop everything, spend money, and buy a tour. But you can avoid manipulation by saying, “Bali is nice, BUT there are mosquitoes there.” That’s it. You neutralize the impact by pointing out the negative aspects that complement the positive.

Manipulation can be done not only through words, but also through appearance, smell, taste, and tactile sensations. It can even be completely invisible if, for example, you enter the field of desires of a large group of people or an excited crowd. This is the basis for invisible power technologies, where, through information control, a large number of people are emotionally tuned in a certain direction.

A particle moves in an external field while it is charged. If you neutralize the charge, you are completely free. Force acts on the moving particle. Stay calm, and you will be invulnerable. You will be completely invisible to manipulators.

Time

Where, in fact, does our emotional life take place, where our pains, joys, happiness, and sufferings exist? Do you love music? You catch the mood of the musician or singer; you may cry, feel inspired, move rhythmically, or dance. But what is music from the standpoint of physics? It is just a longitudinal wave, vibrations of air. So why can’t we measure these air vibrations with devices and detect all the richness of feelings and emotions? Because we are searching in space, while music exists in time. It is a different medium, with its own laws and ways of perception. Our emotional life happens in time, and in spacewe see its manifestations.

What we call integrity in space is the coordination of events in time, synchronization. Movement in space corresponds to a change of states in time. Is there energy of time? Of course, because time contains structures of states capable of organizing and disintegrating. Moreover, time has its own elements, which are fractally similar to all others. In the grand scheme, the fractality of space occurs due to the continuously organizing fractality of time. From the perspective of the second law of thermodynamics, the world inevitably moves toward chaos, entropy. But there is a force constantly counteracting decay—this is the force of life, and this force resides in time.

Usually, we perceive time as a certain scale, an axis from the past to the future, accompanying changes in space. Seeing the repetition of events, movement in time is compared to a spiral. Observing the similarity of different cycles, such as a year, a day, a life, or a breath cycle, one can notice that the events and circumstances are different, but the sequence of changes is constant. For example, morning is like spring or an inhale, evening is like autumn or an exhale. This abstract circle of changes has no relation to space; it belongs only to time. One could say that the very nature of time is cyclical.

In sensations, this is not movement in a circle but rather an alternation of compression and rarefaction. In time, there are no directions like up-down, left-right, no density of matter, temperature, or color. What, then, can condense and dissolve? We have already spoken about fractality as the similarity of small parts and a larger whole. Fractality has levels of complexity. For example, the simplest level is a tree in winter—a black outline of the trunk against white snow. The most complex level comes in summer when it is a curly, multicolored mass, where there is a trunk, branches, and thousands of leaves, the veins of each reflecting the trunk and branches. Or, in the beginning, there was a seed, and then it grew into a huge tree, on which thousands of similar seeds ripen. In each cycle, there are several stages of complication, evolution, and then several stages of returning to the beginning. One could say that in time, there is a sequential change of states "inside-outside" from a smaller whole to a larger one. This transition marks the boundary of consciousness. In time practices, we cannot speak of chakras, movements of qi along certain orbits, or body postures. In time, we can experience a sequence of emotional states simultaneously with all the cells of our body, and not only our body but everything that surrounds it in sensations.

Time Meditation

We do not focus on any particular point; we are in the whole body simultaneously. We pass through a sequence of states in a circle. The body is completely relaxed. We do not accompany the changes with body movements. Only emotions and sensations.

1. Emptiness. Dissolution. I am not here. I am nowhere and everywhere. I have the freedom to choose any path.

2. Love. I am here. I am curious about this world. I accept this world. It is very tasty. It caresses me with streams of tenderness and affection.

3. Joy. There are many kind people around. They warm me with their soulful warmth.

4. Beauty. I admire the beauty of this world—flowers, forests, sparkling snow, the multicolored shimmer of stars.

5. Joy. My heart is open. I embrace everyone.

6. Love. I thank this world. My tenderness knows no bounds. I love you.

7. Emptiness. I have gained invaluable experience. It was amazing. I can rest a little now. Good bye! Now I will be a part of all of you.

You can pass through this circle with breathing: ascending on a slow inhale, enjoying the beauty, descending on a long exhale, resting in emptiness. It is preferable to have silence and a beautiful landscape around. The air should be fresh and delightful.

The Soul

Just as a beautiful flower creates its fragrant petals from the earth and the byproducts of life, so does a person construct their complex being from elements scattered around. The soul is typically made up of several fragments from other souls, including those of the deceased. Many facts support this. One of the most studied by medicine is the existence of schizophrenia. Additionally, experiences under hypnosis that involve returning to the past often revive memories of different personalities that might have lived at the same time, not necessarily one after the other. In everyday life, we often see drunk people, where part of the personality is temporarily replaced by another. Of course, we must also mention the phenomenon of possession, where there is literally a struggle for the body.

Let’s try to understand this. Let’s start with the definition of the soul.

The soul is one of the various forms of life, a living structure, an intelligent organism capable of controlling the mind, desires, and the body of a person.

The soul has its own instincts for self-preservation and reproduction. Its aspirations often contradict the innate instincts of the body. Its existence is such that it cannot survive long without being connected to the body. It is the contact with the body that maintains its integrity and preserves its structure. Among the well-known parallels for this symbiosis, we can mention the relationship between a horse and a rider, or a people and its ruler. This connection is usually mutually beneficial. The rider takes care of the horse, giving its life purpose and meaning. The people need a ruler who leads, organizes, protects, and develops them. The cases of possession can be compared to a parasite that doesn’t care for the body of its host but exploits it for its own purposes.

The crucial factor in determining what happens to the soul after death is its integrity. For some time, cleansing from the unnecessary and accidental occurs, but the core remains. In a fortunate case, the soul merges with a newly created body resulting from conception, and we have the case of reincarnation described in Hinduism. It may wait for a long time if no suitable body appears, and this state can conditionally be called heaven or hell, as described by Christians and Muslims. After some time, the soul inevitably begins to fragment into pieces.

Sometimes the genes of both father and mother harmoniously combine, creating a healthy, complete body. This happens when the two families share similar aspirations and there is genuine mutual love. In this case, the most likely outcome is the acquisition of an intact soul.

The bearer of such a soul will have enormous intuition, inherent wisdom, and experience far exceeding the abilities of others. However, in life, genetic incompatibility is often encountered, such as when people marry for convenience or when conception happens accidentally or under the influence of alcohol. In this case, the soul is assembled from fragments, sometimes many, in accordance with conflicting desires coming from different ancestors. This is exactly where we encounter the fragmentation of the soul, schizophrenia, and the prerequisites for possession. If the soul is literally made of shards, we arrive at the Buddha’s teaching, which says that the soul is a one-time, unique collection of elements from the universe that after death disperse in different directions. This thought is also close to atheists who completely deny the existence of the soul and do not recognize an afterlife. Different concepts of the soul are merely different degrees of understanding its integrity. What is the Truth? You touch the truth when you realize that everyone is right.

Practice of the Soul

If you do not want to completely disappear after death, daily work on yourself is necessary. The goal of the practice is to achieve inner integrity. You must do, during your life, what awaits you after death. Understand what is most important and harmonious within you. Find the foundation. The principles that apply equally across all areas of life. Remove the superficial, the things you have heard somewhere, that contradict these principles. Eliminate everything unnecessary. Be yourself. This is the feeling of purpose. Whole people do not change their principles even in the face of death, and by doing so, they preserve their soul. The test happens through power, money, food, sex, fear—temptations and threats. The most terrible betrayal is betrayal of one's own soul. The best practice here is to do your favorite thing well every day.

Heart

Animals such as horses and dogs are tamad through the heart. If you use physical violence, it only causes fear and exasperation. It is equally pointless to impose your will through words or mental commands. A horse does not understand words and is unable to perceive thoughts. Your desire must be emotional. You need to love the horse, accept it as it is, and then it will willingly accept a part of your soul as its guide. In the Adyghe language, "horse" and "brother" are the same word.

Do you remember your favorite teacher at school? The class you enjoyed attending? A part of their soul has stayed with you for life. What was their secret? Their work was not simply reciting a textbook. They scolded, but they were forgiven. They didn’t use brute force, but neither were they distant or too intellectual. They were warm, soulful, often naive like a child. They were very attentive to everyone. It was not their mind or body that spoke to you. It was the manifistation of their heart.

The heart, as the core of the human soul, possesses immense power of suggestion and persuasion. It inspires and leads. It subjugates your mind and feelings, and the body is already willing to do any work under its guidance.

Humans, many animals, and birds have a subtle structure within their bodies through which they connect with the soul. Not always their own.

Spirit

The time has come to take a step beyond time. The difference between obsession and spiritual connection is that in obsession, the soul is completely pushed aside, displaced, and the person does not remember who they are. In the second case, the soul remains but consciously submits itself to God, acting as a mediator between the Spirit and the body. God in sensations is the Master, Creator, Father, and Mother—a warm, living, emotional being who guides your soul, directs, protects, provides, and nourishes. What is required of you is work in your place, development, learning, and maintaining your health. The awareness of being a useful part of a greater whole. This gives meaning to life and a sense of happiness. Happiness as co-Participation. Consciousness as co-Knowledge. "God is Love" means that He loves, understands, and accepts everyone, without distinctions in language or skin color, accepting the importance and usefulness of every living being in the greater cosmic work. If God is a tribal spirit, it leads to wars. The true way to avoid wars is to admit the Earth as a common home, a shared forest under the Moon, the Sun as a common source of warmth, and the Sky as a shared homeland.

Every nation has its spiritual hierarchies. There are people whose consciousness is broader than narrow national interests. And they receive their spiritual support from above. Not necessarily in their own church. It comes in sensations. Anywhere, without rituals, without priests. The desire generates a response.

Beyond Time

The circle of states has disappeared. The past and the future are here and now. You can know everything. Everything you can contain. Enter this point. Be in it. Enjoy the unity with the great living, sparkling with multicolored diamonds, a starry sky

The Art of Being Weak

Places of Power

Many people today seek so-called "places of power." They plan trips, hire guides, and compile lists of locations they must visit. The acquired power is expected to help them improve their business, restore their health, or fulfill their desires. Yet, it doesn’t occur to anyone to search for "places of weakness." Meanwhile, in the East, the treatment of an illness traditionally begins with cleansing, with a laxative, and only then proceeds to strengthening and fortifying. After all, power is like a magnifying glass—it not only amplifies your positive qualities but also your problems and illnesses. These unresolved issues can suddenly become destructive. It’s like a homeless person suddenly finding a million dollars on the street. How long do you think they would live after that? No one has ever become happy from discovering a treasure. For some reason, such an event is usually followed by the destruction of one’s fate, illness, or even death.

Often, the idea of searching for "places of power" is akin to black magic, where personal desires are expected to be instantly fulfilled by invoking otherworldly forces.

So, we’ve arrived at the root of the matter. The journey to places of power is driven by the desire to fulfill wishes. It’s a good time to recall the Buddha, who pointed out that desires are the cause of suffering. However, human desires can be divided into different categories. The first, necessary for the survival of the body, are usually easily satisfied anywhere. The second, tied to societal manipulations, notions of prestige, ideas of how one should live, or keeping up with others—these are the main driving force behind the pursuit of "places of power." There is also a third, special kind of desire, which does not stem from the body or society. Often, it opposes the peace of both, yet it grants its bearer immense power wherever they may be, transforming the person themselves into a source and a "place of power" for others. This is what we will discuss in this book.

The Artist

Artists have a concept called "letting go of the hand." It means turning off the mind, stopping thought, and allowing the hand to draw on its own. In reality, this doesn’t work without extensive preparation—preparation that often spans generations of ancestors, specialized education, and honing the necessary motor skills. Can you imagine what a random person off the street would draw if they simply "let go of their hand"? The same applies to sculptors, poets, and dancers. Creative people often feel a sense of detachment, as if the work pours through them, and they watch in awe and joy from the sidelines, marveling at the extraordinary result: "I had nothing to do with this; it came from above."

At the same time, a bad poet labors painfully, picking rhymes through the effort of the mind. Such contrived works can hardly be called poetry. We’ve often seen this in slogans, advertisements, and popular songs. What’s the difference? The mind, like artificial intelligence, creates works from ready-made blocks, existing pieces rearranged into new combinations. Inspiration, on the other hand, infuses the living future into the present, bypassing the strain of the mind. The less analysis there is in the creative process, the purer, more whole, and more perfect the masterpiece. This is why a work of art is always greater than its author. The author themselves often doesn’t initially grasp the full significance of what they’ve just created—and perhaps never will. Others will dissect it, analyze it, and uncover new layers of meaning. Often, works of art anticipate scientific discoveries by decades. There are even timeless masterpieces, harmonious like living crystals, reflecting the structure of the universe. They remain fresh across all eras, while scientific discoveries, as we know, tend to become outdated relatively quickly.

So, how does the true creative process happen? Creativity is communion with the Creator; it is participation in Creation. The artist’s consciousness vibrates on the boundary between the past and the future. The mind is so empty that it can perceive clearly, without overthinking. The main problem of the mind is its biases, preconceived notions, and rigid constructs. These represent the "dirt" from which the genius’s creativity remains free. In the moment of creation, the artist doesn’t know who they are—their gender, age, or nationality. They create beyond all of that. And yet, the combination of all their specific traits—genes, education, language—forms that unique alloy of a bell that rings out to us all with a magical chime, so happily aligned, that uniquely tuned musical instrument on which God Himself plays.

The Ruler

At first glance, the ruler seems to be the complete opposite of the artist. They are wealthy, endowed with power, and often feared rather than loved—though every ruler dreams of being loved. What connects them? The ruler, the leader of the people, is an intermediary between the lesser and the greater, between heaven and earth. If they are a spiritual leader, they convey the laws to the people and offer praise to higher powers through rituals, offerings, and the scent of incense as gratitude. A secular leader brings order and harmony to life, often coordinating the activities of a smaller community within the larger body of a state or empire. The ruler is like a bridge, a channel through which, on one hand, governance, punishment, and rewards flow from above, and on the other, labor, useful activity, obedience, and gratitude rise from below. The ruler must represent their people with dignity, embodying their best qualities. This is why they must be aware of all affairs, all interconnections within their people. They must live their people’s emotions, be their soul. As long as the soul is present, the body remains healthy and whole. After death, the body begins to decay. Similarly, when a ruler departs, discord and strife begin.

What is the creativity of a ruler? They daily bring the future into the present, reshaping the landscape. Their paints and canvas are construction, roads, and cultivated land. Their mission is to bring order—sometimes a new order, if they are a revolutionary ruler. Their work is often associated with violence. But what is time if not violence against space? They often feel and know "what must be done," demanding that subordinates act without discussion. What will later be called the embodiment of wisdom. Their faith is contagious, their strength victorious. Just as an artist cannot help but create, a ruler cannot remain inactive. Life often unites the ruler and the artist as collaborators in a common cause. Leonardo da Vinci died in the arms of the King of France.

The Scientist

The embodiment of the principle of curiosity, the primal thirst for knowledge. The scientist seeks to understand how everything works. In the visible chaos of facts and events, they identify principles and laws. For them, beauty lies in the symmetry of a formula. Their path to freedom is through knowledge. They may forget to eat or sleep if their mind is inflamed with the desire to catch the magical bird of knowledge by its tail. They bring discoveries into life that radically change our existence. They are the ones who connect the future with the present. A mediator. What unites the poet, the ruler, and the scientist? When "It" begins, they cannot resist it. They acutely feel what must be done right now, or the moment will be lost forever. The poet at a ball begins scribbling verses on their cuffs, the artist grabs their brushes, the ruler wakes their subordinates in the middle of the night, and the scientist writes and writes like a madman. There is a sense that they stand on the outposts of reality. And if something is meant to become the heritage of millions, it comes rushing through these border guards. The world is arranged in such a way that if the time has come and one scientist is asleep, another wakes up in the middle of the night—or, to be sure, several at once. Have you noticed the double surnames in the laws of discoverers? Boyle-Mariotte law, Joule-Lenz Law. Inventors often argue over priority. But the truth is that a mature thought often takes shape simultaneously in several minds, often in different countries.

Today, there is the concept of copyright, plagiarism; under capitalism, inspiration is monetized. However, in Bach’s time, things were different. Biographers discovered that 60 percent of the composer’s work was self-repetition, and the remaining 40 percent were direct borrowings. This means that, on one hand, a person has a certain leitmotif in life, when the same melody breaks through, trying to make itself heard at different times—in childhood, youth, maturity—and they cannot fully hear it. On the other hand, they discover that this melody also appeared to one of their contemporaries, like Handel, but he was slightly deaf, somewhat inattentive, and therefore failed to record it completely. So, Bach must pick it up and bring it to perfection, delivering God’s undistorted word to the people. At the top of each page of Bach’s sheet music were the Latin letters "JJ," meaning Jesu Juva—Jesus, help. And at the bottom, "SDG"—Soli Deo Gloria, meaning Glory to God the One!

Discoveries often come at the boundary between sleep and wakefulness. We all remember how Mendeleev’s Periodic Table appeared in a dream (though he had been thinking about it for 25 years before that). Creative people often prefer nighttime or live in a borderline state of consciousness. Edison, following Aristotle, came up with the idea of falling asleep in a chair with a set of keys in his hand. At the moment of falling asleep, the fingers release the keys, which fall onto a metal tray, the clatter wakes him, and at that moment, the answer to the question appears. But this only works if there has been a long period of preparation and searching. A burning desire to find. And then, at some magical moment, the mind becomes empty, lets go, relaxes. And the discovery calmly flows into life. That is, a miracle is usually preceded by long labor and preparation.

The Seer

The answer always precedes the question. This may seem paradoxical. But do you remember that when you encounter a paradox, you touch the truth? On one hand, a concentrated desire to know leads to an answer. On the other, the answer, long standing beyond the visible reality, is already ready to burst in and generates a sharp desire to know it—that is, the question. The seer knows that at the moment a question is asked, the answer is already present in their surroundings—in the random words of passersby, in the smile of a passing girl, in a page of a book opened by chance, in a sudden lightning strike. Everything is a sign, everything is a revelation. It doesn’t matter how it comes—whether through scrutinizing astrological aspects on a computer screen, an elegant card spread on the table, or a spinning coin about to reveal a decision. The key is to understand the principle. You must always carry a coin with you, agree in advance that heads mean "Yes," and toss it the very moment the question arises. If you hesitate and toss it a minute later, you’ll still get an answer, but it will be an answer to a different question—and perhaps not yours!

The Practice That Chooses Its Own Time and Place

When "It" comes, be weak! Be helpless! Turn off your mind, be empty. Forget that you know anything. Forget that you can judge. Be a Child, infinitely soft and warm. Infinitely trusting your great Parents. Do not worry about anything—not your body, not your soul. Surrender to the living flow that moves you. Do not stop. Trust absolutely. Everything that is happening now is under someone’s great power. Trust infinitely! Marvel infinitely at what is happening now. A mystery! You are infinitely small. And all the grandeur of the starry sky is speaking through you now! Your duty now is to act, to allow this to be! Cast aside all desires, all fears, forget about sleep, food, cold, or heat. Needless to say, in such a state, a person is so helpless that they need protection. A ruler needs bodyguards, an artist needs rulers, a seer has invisible guardians, and a hermit scientist has the walls of a cave to protect them from wild beasts. At this moment, a person is so helpless, so vulnerable, that they would give everything if asked. Even the presence of a friend or spouse is necessary at such times. Aivazovsky’s wife fed him with a spoon while he worked.

Breathing during the moment of creation reverses. But not in the way a fighter’s breath reverses at the moment of a strike. At the very point where a fighter gathers maximum strength for a blow, the creator reaches the maximum state of a child—weak and infinitely trusting their parents, Time, and what must happen now. In this state, with reversed breath, in oblivion, with the midwives shouting "Push, push!" a woman gives birth. The moment has come when she no longer belongs to herself. The Universe itself acts through her, giving birth to itself! Now, the mighty music of the universal purpose of woman resounds. The celestial organ shakes everything around, and angels with flowers sing in chorus a hymn to Life, a hymn to the Creator! Glory to You, Glory to You the One!

Love and Death

Nature offers many examples of males taking deadly risks for females. The image of two goats on a steep cliff, sparks flying as they clash horns, immediately comes to mind. For a spider, sex promises nothing good, as the female simply eats the male afterward—all for the sake of offspring. And childbirth doesn’t improve the female’s health either. For women, a child often takes away beauty; the body’s vital microelements are spent on building the child’s body, affecting bones, hair, and nails. So why do we so recklessly throw ourselves into the abyss? Moreover, why do we sing songs and write poems about it? The fact is, at that moment, we don’t entirely belong to ourselves.

Two primary instincts are embedded in us from the start: the "instinct of self-preservation" and the "instinct of species self-preservation," of which reproduction is a part. The species constantly intrudes into our affairs, shaping thoughts and desires.

The "instinct of self-preservation" is the union of the primal Force of life with the desire to have one’s own body, which separates the individual from the world, creating a boundary. This is the foundation of innate selfishness. This force is directed inward. To sustain life, nourishment is needed, and there is a constant struggle for its sources. But maintaining life is impossible without the development of feelings and the mind. Without communication with others—through language.

The "instinct of species self-preservation" involves stepping beyond the boundaries of the self and participating in the affairs of a greater whole. In it, the Force of life unites with the desire of the species to maintain its integrity. This requires, among other things, competition with other species and the reproduction of its individuals.

At the boundary of these two lies the "Force of curiosity" or the "Spirit of exploration." It is what drives us to go beyond ourselves, exploring the world. The development of the mind makes hunting more efficient. This force shapes the mind and consciousness.

Life follows a certain cycle, where birth is followed by flourishing, then withering, and finally death. But the program of death completely contradicts the innate desire to live and selfishness. Where does it come from, and what is its purpose?

The purpose is simple—the species needs constant renewal in the face of changing circumstances of time and territory, limited by competing species. Therefore, the species compels us to reproduce and compels us to die. This program is embedded in living beings, but it is an external program.

Reflections on this topic have led many thinkers to reconsider their relationship with their own species. The idea of extending life and the search for immortality inevitably lead to some degree of self-isolation from society, to reclusion. Taoists discovered a direct link between sex and self-destruction and developed methods for controlling sex and ejaculation. Buddha directly stated the destructive nature of desires. For the average person, an acute problem arises—to live a short, bright life full of pleasures or a long, dreary one as a gloomy and tedious advocate of a "healthy lifestyle."

But why say "OR" when you can say "AND"! It is entirely possible to live both long and happily!

In the Adyghe language, the word for misfortune sounds like "not in time." This is the key to understanding that for happiness, everything must happen at the right time. Each age has its own tasks, and they must be solved step by step, without skipping, falling behind, or rushing ahead.

There is nothing terrible about sex, as for the species, it is like simple cell division in the body. Every minute, millions of cells divide in our bodies, and this causes neither fear nor extreme strain. Of course, the amount of sex should align with age and temperament. Sexuality is the foundation of natural charm and charisma, openness to the future, and the gateway to the kingdom of Love. Sexuality is the embodiment of the "Force of knowledge" or the "Spirit of curiosity," bordering between the instincts of "self-preservation" and "species self-preservation," the outer boundary of consciousness. The energy of sexuality is, by its nature, the purest creative energy. Bright examples of insanely sexual real and mythical creative personalities include Krishna, Zeus, Mozart, Bach, Raphael, Chaplin, Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, and Celentano.

As for the program of death, one can work with it creatively.

Immortality

George Bernard Shaw expressed the idea that a person lives as long as they decide for themselves. Most people, seeing that others live an average of 70–80 years, adjust their bodies to this cycle, and from the age of 35–40, the processes of decline begin. Set your bar at 500 years. Then, at 80, you’ll be going through childhood? Shaw himself was a long-lived writer. He lived to be 94, and at 84, he was still driving his car through the streets of London on his own. However, at some point, he admitted that life had become uninteresting, boring. As soon as he lost his curiosity, he immediately signed his own death warrant. Similarly, people who don’t want to see the "depraved youth" quickly lose their eyesight. And those who dislike modern music become deaf. Wishes come true. Perhaps one of the main conditions for extending life is the feeling of being needed—needed as a participant in some important universal work. In the East, they speak of the existence of several immortals who remain among the living out of a sense of compassion. Here, the desire to continue living is completely devoid of personal motives; it is directed toward the interests of others and thus disables the program of death imposed on us by the species. We know many creative individuals—doctors, teachers, musicians, writers—who, wanting to help humanity, surpass the age of 100 in full consciousness, with good memory and active engagement.

It is very important how free a person is from toxins that distort the chains of genetic replication. Internal toxins are produced by negative emotions such as fear, anger, envy, and vengefulness. As a rule, long-lived people are kind, calm, open, and friendly. They gradually come to realize the formula that evil cannot be answered with evil, and only good ultimately destroys evil. We will now explore this topic in more detail, along with a very useful practice.

The Practice of Light

From time to time, an enemy appears in our lives. Their goals are very simple—to take control of your time, attention, energy, money, property, and land. Before fighting, the enemy must be recognized. Often, they gain power over you quietly and unnoticed. They may smile and be extremely polite, but some inner feeling suggests that something is wrong here. To sense others’ intentions, you need to be attentive, open, naive, and weak, like a child. This state of perception is achieved through direct breathing with the sound "IEA" on the inhale and "OU" on the exhale.

If a person captures your attention and begins to irritate you, it means a connection has already formed between you. Most people are accustomed from childhood to the idea that if someone elbows you, you should elbow them back. Action should equal reaction. This is directly called for in the Torah: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. If we do not respond aggressively, it is obviously perceived as weakness. However, the connection that has arisen can be used creatively and in a completely different way. If you are stronger, your calmness, joy, and friendliness should transfer to your opponent. You will defeat them not by destroying them but by changing them, perhaps only destroying their aggression. As a result, the conflict is resolved, and the amount of good in the universe has increased.

How to become stronger? This secret has already been revealed in previous chapters. To do this, you need to raise your vibrations. Shift into a creative state, that is, activate reverse breathing: the sound "AOU" on the inhale and "IEA" on the exhale. Find within yourself the sensation of God, like the state of a small child in the hands of all-powerful Parents. Then, project your weakness outward as the greatest transcendent force. Feel how your opponent changes before your eyes, turning into your best friend in bewilderment. To complete the experience, return to the state of rest and perception: "IEA" on the inhale, "OU" on the exhale. That, in essence, is all the magic. Long-lived people intuitively come to this way of interacting with the world.

Who is Stronger?

Suppose you find yourself alone with an apple in your hand. You are a whole living being, and the apple is also a whole living being—and a very tasty one at that. Wholeness is maintained by the energy of connections. And so, when your teeth sink with a crunch into the shiny surface of the apple, and the tart juice sprays onto your tongue, your strength is replenished in a very pleasant way. The energy of the apple’s connections becomes yours. Such is life. To preserve one whole, you must destroy another. How do you determine who is stronger? You remain continuous in time; your state hasn’t changed, but the state of the apple has changed quite noticeably. The same applies to conflict. The stronger one is the one who maintains calmness and composure. Hysterics, sudden mood swings, outbursts of anger, and shouting are signs of weakness—they are destructive for the one who exhibits them. Strong people don’t fuss or make sudden movements. There is a certain calm majesty in their demeanor, behind which lies great power.

The Healer

Sooner or later, you encounter illness, and then a healer appears in your life. The word "healer" in Russian means "one who makes whole, one who restores wholeness." A healer, entering a state of connection with the patient, transmits their own wholeness and harmony. In this case, it is very important, first, who is stronger, and second, how healthy the healer themselves is. That is, they must surpass the patient, be on a different level. Otherwise, they either take on the illness themselves or introduce even greater disharmony through their personal problems. Some healers work as conduits for external forces, much like an artist or creator. Their abilities far exceed those of ordinary people. But here, the purity of the channel, the healer’s years of professional preparation, and their ability to work with a mind free from biases are of great importance. How do you choose a healer you can trust? Often, this choice is a chance fated. In reality, people can sense very well who is stronger when they meet. And the slightest doubt about the healer is very significant. As Dostoevsky said, "If you doubt that you are right, then you are already wrong." You should not enter into a relationship with someone who immediately raises even the slightest doubt in you—and then tries to convince you of something. Ideally, trust arises instantly and absolutely.

The Practice of Self-Healing

In many cases, you can help yourself. Recall your childhood—a child, up to a certain age, is unaware of the existence of internal organs. They look with bewilderment when someone complains, for example, of a headache. The history of becoming acquainted with internal organs is the history of the emergence of illness. At some point, the stomach hurts for the first time; at another, the throat. A state of health is when you don’t know what’s inside you. But if there’s a focus on a particular point, that’s already illness. To be healthy is to be whole, to be present in all points simultaneously.

How can you help yourself without medication? Natural alignment occurs during sleep. But if you want to consciously intervene in the healing process, here’s the practice: On the inhale, go to the center of your navel, find and recall there the sensation of yourself as a small child—soft, tender, playful, smiling, with round, firm cheeks and clear eyes. On the exhale, send this sensation to the place that troubles you. There lies the internal enemy, which must be defeated with the power of trust, joy, and love. This child is healthy and doesn’t know that anything could hurt. They will saturate that place with everything it needs. You can fill your entire body with this sensation. This is healing through the power of time. The center of the navel acts as a door to the universe, which both fills and liberates.

For calming, relaxing, and lowering blood pressure, you can use deep abdominal breathing with the sound "IEA" on the inhale and "OU" on the exhale. For concentration, awakening, and raising blood pressure, switch to reverse breathing with "AOU" on the inhale and "IEA" on the exhale.

Please note that the described methods of self-healing do not replace or exclude conventional methods of treatment, examinations, and consultations with professional doctors—they only complement them.

The Healer of Broken Hearts

One of the common illnesses that is difficult to treat is the so-called "broken heart." This concept is quite precise and meaningful. Unbearable pain in the chest arises from separation from a loved one. Why does this happen, and what can be done about it? Most people, having been burned by the flames of love, try to banish the offender from their heart forever and keep the door locked afterward. The pain can be so sharp that a person stops allowing anyone into their personal life altogether. Something similar happens when someone you deeply love dies suddenly, or when a tragedy occurs, even far away, involving someone close to you.

In previous chapters, we discussed how our soul consists of fragments. Even the souls of beloved actors and singers leave a particle in your heart, which not only becomes yours but can also be passed down through generations. This, by the way, is how the soul reproduces. The soul, like any living being, has its own instincts of self-preservation and reproduction. "You must spend a long time alone with a great person for a part of their soul to become yours," said the Roman Stoic Seneca. It turns out that if you have grown so close to a loved one and then part ways, this separation is akin to a physical wound. Sometimes, we begin to blame and denounce the offender as the source of pain. But there is another way to solve this rather common problem. "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it," said Einstein.

The practice involves looking at the situation from above. We already know how to raise our vibrations and enter the sensation of God. It’s important to understand that we are not discussing the reality, appearance, or location of God, such as a white-bearded grandfather sitting on a cloud. We are talking about God as a sensation within ourselves. It opens up as the state of a trusting child standing before the grandeur of the starry sky, full of life and the warmth of gentle beings surrounding you continuously with love and care. In this state, we begin to see the conflict differently. The one who caused us pain and suffering turns out to be the same child—weak and confused, you are the parts of One. Your hatred, from this height, transforms into compassion. God is the best healer of the heart! In this state, like God, you accept all parts of His creation, love all living beings, and the conflict disappears.

If you have lost a loved one, a part of their soul remains with you as a gift. You should rejoice that you were fortunate enough to spend some time together in this life, but you will always find him where he came from. A loving heart is always open to love!

One on One

At the moment when the sensation of connection with God arises, it becomes clear who is stronger between the two of you and who has a greater reserve of love. In this duel, you acknowledge the weakness and defeat of your small self, but you gain Love for all living beings and the infinite strength of the Universe. And even Time is now in your power!
